Central Washington Hotels Near the Gorge

Central Washington is big, open country, and the places to stay near the Gorge Amphitheatre are spread across it in a loose ring of small towns. This page gathers them town by town so you can match a stay to the way you want the weekend to go. George WA Hotels is an independent guide and has no affiliation with the venue or Live Nation.

George and Quincy are the towns closest to the venue, and the venue's own pages give its address under both names. Quincy has far more listings than George, which is a small town with only a handful of places to stay. Vantage sits beside the Columbia River where I-90 crosses on the Vantage Bridge, a short hop from the venue and a natural stop for anyone camping by the water.

To the north, Wenatchee and East Wenatchee face each other across the Columbia and together hold one of the larger groups of hotels on the site. To the east and northeast, Moses Lake has the most listings of any town on the site, with Ephrata and Soap Lake a little farther north. Othello lies to the southeast. Ellensburg is to the west, on the far side of the river, so staying there means crossing the Vantage Bridge to reach the show.

That bridge shapes a lot of plans right now. WSDOT is replacing its deck through fall 2027, with one lane each way and a 9-foot width limit, and it says the longest delays have been eastbound on Fridays and westbound on Sundays. If you are towing a trailer or driving a wide RV, check the limit before you choose a town on the other side.

Choosing a town is a trade. Closer to the venue means fewer places to choose from. Farther out usually means more choice and a longer trip back after the last song. You might also pick a town for the rest of your weekend: a lake, a river, a quiet morning or a bigger grocery store before you head to camp.

Open the town pages in any order and compare the places to stay on the same few points: distance to the venue, how many guests each place allows, any minimum stay on show weekends, and what the cancellation terms say. Then contact the property directly, because rates and availability are theirs to set and change.
