About Wanapum Recreation Area
Camping for Ginkgo Petrified Forest State Park is at the Wanapum Recreation Area near Vantage, a waterfront park with a campground, a swim area, a boat ramp and trails through a petrified ginkgo forest. Campers choose between full-hookup sites with electric, water and sewer and hiker/biker sites. Dogs are allowed on a leash, and fires only in designated areas.
