Gorge Camping: The Venue's Tiers and Campgrounds Nearby

Gorge camping comes in two kinds: the Gorge Amphitheatre's own campground, right beside the venue, and the independent campgrounds, RV parks and state park sites in the towns around it. They are separate places with separate rules and separate booking, so it helps to know which one you are looking at. George WA Hotels is an independent guide and is not affiliated with the Gorge Amphitheatre or Live Nation. ## Gorge Amphitheatre camping: the venue's own tiers The venue sells five camping tiers, all described on its camping options page. Standard Camping is the budget choice, with free showers, portable restrooms and sites of about 15 by 25 feet. Premier Camping gives you more room, about 20 by 35 feet, and adds flushable restrooms. Front Yard Camping sits a short walk from the main gates, and The Grove RV Park adds 30-amp and 50-amp power hookups; both have sites of about 20 by 50 feet. Terrace Camping is the venue's premium tier, with private showers, morning coffee and pastries, round-the-clock concierge and private shuttles to the show. Tents, cars, vans and RVs are welcome in all five, and a setup bigger than your site needs a second pass. The venue also runs two glamping options. The Gorge Oasis campground has furnished bell tents, air-conditioned showers and a shaded lounge with a light breakfast, and the venue puts it about a 25-minute walk from the main campground. The Terraces offer cottage-style tents with bedding, a cooler and private shuttles, though RVs are not allowed there. ## Rules to know before you buy Gorge camping tickets come with firm rules, set out in the venue's camping FAQ. You need a concert ticket to be in the campground at all, and the camping ticket does not include show admission. Each site holds up to six people and one vehicle, and every extra vehicle needs its own pass. Sites are handed out in order of arrival, everyone in your group has to be there at check-in, and you cannot save a spot for friends arriving later. Passes cover the whole event weekend, with no refunds and no transfers. Also: no pets except service animals, quiet hours from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m., no open campfires (propane is fine), and alcohol only at your own campsite. The campground stores take cards and mobile pay only. Opening times change from event to event, so check your camping ticket and the venue's Know Before You Go page before you set off. ## Camping near the Gorge Amphitheatre The list below shows independent campgrounds and RV parks in the towns around the Gorge, each with its distance to the venue. One public option is the Wanapum Recreation Area near Vantage, which has full-hookup and hiker/biker campsites, books through Washington State Parks and needs a Discover Pass. Every place on the list sets its own rates, rules and booking, and a listing here is not a recommendation or an endorsement from the venue. If being close to the stage matters most, start with the venue's tiers. For a quieter camp or a base for a longer trip, compare the list on distance and amenities. ## Questions to ask any campground Ask whether your rig fits the site, how many people and cars one site allows, what the check-in and check-out times are, and whether there is a minimum stay on show weekends. Ask whether fires or propane grills are allowed, since rules differ by place. Then plan your ride to the show and back before the night starts. The venue's shuttles run from its own campgrounds, its lots do not allow overnight parking, and rideshare can drop you off but pickup is not guaranteed. If your drive uses I-90, the Vantage Bridge is under construction through fall 2027, with long delays on Gorge weekends, so build in extra time. Last checked 2026-10-14.
